FIRST STEPS TO JOINING OUR CREW
- Training 11am ~ 6pm / M~F
- Train and be coached by company dancers and artistic staff
- Thrive as a dancer in a professional company setting
- Study Ballet, Contemporary Dance, TIC Technique & more
- Perform at the 'Mystic Dark Room' the same stage where the Company performs during the season
- Participants will have the opportunity to be selected for job/MB2 – full season

- DANCE LABORATORY - Mystic Ballet/ MB Creative is a one-of-a-kind nuzzled in a safe, historical seaport village. Spend your days dancing alongside accomplished artists.
- MYSTIC DARK ROOM - Work inside a unique, state of the art creative space, surrounded by nature preserve.
Audition fee: Free
- $1,250 - Tuition & Performances fee
- $1,580 Housing & local transportation (to and from studios/theater & shopping)
- $500 SEAT Deposit within 15 days of acceptance email.

During the program, we take full advantage of Mystic’s coastal charm! Expect beach outings, and group excursions to experience the best of the area. Join this Summer in Mystic, it is all about movement, connection, and adventure.
Explore the famous Mystic Seaport Museum, where you can step aboard historic ships and experience maritime history firsthand. Visit the Mystic Aquarium to see incredible marine life, from beluga whales to playful sea lions. Stroll through Olde Mistick Village, a charming shopping and dining destination with unique boutiques and local treats.
Immerse yourself in an inspiring environment where artistry and discipline come together. Train alongside professionals, refining your craft through an intensive program that pushes boundaries and elevates your technique.
Study Ballet, Contemporary Dance, the TIC Technique, and more, gaining the tools to master control, individuality, and organic movement. From rigorous daily training to performance opportunities, you’ll develop the strength, artistry, and confidence needed to excel in a professional company setting.
Participants will have the opportunity to be considered for professional contracts with MB2, for the full season. This is a unique pathway for dancers to transition from intensive training into a professional company, gaining real-world experience in performances, rehearsals, and artistic development.
Selection is based on technical ability, artistry, and work ethic demonstrated throughout the program. Working closely with company artists and choreographers makes for an experience that serves as a launching pad for dancers looking to refine their craft and build a career in the industry.

Here, dancers train, create, and perform in a setting that fosters innovation and immersive storytelling. The space is equipped with professional lighting, sound, and staging, allowing for a seamless transition from rehearsal to performance. Every detail is designed to enhance the artistic process, providing an environment where movement, music, and visual aesthetics come together in perfect harmony.
Beyond the stage, Mystic Dark Room offers an escape from the ordinary—a place where dancers can focus, refine their craft, and connect with nature. Surrounded by the tranquility of a nature preserve, it provides the perfect balance between intense artistic work and moments of inspiration drawn from the peaceful surroundings.

Participants will have the incredible opportunity to perform at Mystic Dark Room, the same intimate and immersive venue where the company showcases its season productions. This performance experience allows dancers to share the stage with professionals, refining their stage presence, artistry, and connection with live audiences.
Mystic Dark Room’s unique setting fosters a deep artistic exchange between dancers and viewers, creating performances that are both personal and powerful. Through this experience, participants will not only gain invaluable stage time but also develop the confidence and professionalism required for a successful performance career.
The Zen Oasis is a special space designed to enhance both physical and mental well-being, providing a peaceful refuge for dancers during the summer program. This serene sanctuary is dedicated to promoting balance, recovery, and personal growth.
Participants will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of wellness-focused classes, including yoga, pilates, breath-work, infused classes, conditioning and strengthening and mindfulness training. These sessions are specifically designed to complement the intensity of dance training by nurturing strength, flexibility, and mental clarity. In the Zen Oasis, dancers can take a step back from the demands of their craft, recharge, and cultivate a deeper mind-body connection, which is essential for long-term artistic and physical success.
